Province of BC has a wealth of resources pertaining to starting a business. This will guide you through the provincial regulations and requirements.

The Government of Canada provides a checklist of the federal requirements and information on taxes pertaining to business. 

City of Campbell River has all your local requirements for obtaining a business licence to operate within the city.

Worksafe BC has all the information you need to keep your employees safe at work and what to do if they get hurt.

Island Health is the regulating and licensing body for certain businesses. Here are the specific links for Food businesses, Tattoos, Piercings and Tanning operations, and Community Care facilities.
